Is there anyone who can help me telling me if the following text is correct? Thanks so much!

This product is realized with an ancient Japanese technique called Raku.
The working process combines all the natural Elements: Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and produces a variety of unique results.
It starts with the Earth (Clay) to create the object. In the Air it dries. With the Fire is made the first burning, to get the “biscuit”.
Then it is painted with particular hand-made glazes, realized by the artist with metal oxides, and fired again.
When the temperature is reached, every single piece is extracted from the kiln and put in a box, with combustible material inside.
During this step the object undergoes a strong thermal shock and it could develop characteristic cracks on the enamel surface; these are peculiarities and not defects.
After the closure of the box, Air and Fire melt together and induce a strong reduction of oxygen.
This step causes the reaction of the metal oxides, that randomly emerge. Otherwise, unpainted parts become black by smoking.
Finally Water stops the reduction process and clean the object from the combustion residues.
The result, in tones and shades, will be random, such as Nature creates, and for this reason every piece is unique and unrepeatable.

  1. Hi Raku. I have just read your request. I have re written your article. Hope it helps!!

The making of this product is based on an ancient Japanese technique called Raku. Certainly, it's manufacture encompasses the four main natural elements, which are the Earth, the fire, the water and the air. Such is the uniqueness of this blend that it displays a matchless result.
Indeed, the above said production involves four main stages in. The first of them is related to the clay which is used to generate a great variety of items. The second stage is related to the action of the air which is efficient to get objects quickly dried. Then, the third stage is related to the action of high temperatures reached by the fire. Once the pieces are perfectly sealed, , the fourth stage is in direct relation with hand made ornaments which are done by skilled artists.
Afterwards, each piece is send to special kilns, in order to seal the artistic traces. Once the temperature is high enough, the pieces are taken out of the kiln and kept in special containers. It is worth mentioning that owing to this hard thermal shock, some distinguishing cracks may appear at the surface of each individual product. Finally, air and fire act together reductioning oxygen, after the containers are definitely closed. As a result, some metal parts may become rusty in time.
Then, the above- mentioned process of reduction is curbed by the water, which removes any type of residues. As a consequence, there is a great range of items in Stock, including different shapes, colours and nuances. Such is the variety offered to us by Mother nature. Such is the singularity of each one of these products.
