Yeah, I’m not mistaken, I’m not wrong.
Follow me, we will learn how. I know that you are still unable to believe me.
Let’s try and see, maybe we’ll discover new things; maybe we’ll discuss something else and it would be interesting if we debate about it together!
As kids; our grandfathers and our parents told us about many things, we believed them automatically because they were/are trusted. No one could disagree with them or even thought of what they said. It was a matter of respect or maybe because we didn’t have the same experience they had.
I still remember my mother’s advice: “Don’t talk to strangers!” and my father’s “Laughing without any reason = impoliteness!”
Later, I discovered that a stranger can be a faithful friend; a stranger can be a good listener; a stranger can be the dearest one for you. Sorry my mother, but I was a stranger when you brought me to this world and then you talked to me and you taught me how to LOVE!
I also believe that I can laugh without any reason, I mean I don’t have to wait till I find a convenient reason which makes me laugh. I can find my OWN reasons to laugh and fill my soul of happiness. My father can’t understand these reasons. Still, I’m not impolite and I’m not crazy as well! Sorry my father, but I heard you laughing many times and I wasn’t able to get your OWN reasons!
Everyone of us should have our own point of view, own way of thinking, own plan to change our lifestyle.
Remember…. This won’t happen easily, this won’t happen by a sudden or by a coincidence. This will happen when you forget all about the old equations; when you cross the “1+1=2”
Believe in yourself; believe that CHANGE must be and nothing will last forever.
Years ago, when we were students, our teachers used to explain things in a monotonous way; they didn’t let us think out of the box. That way killed the creativity inside us, but fortunately, some students were mature enough to find their own way and they successfully created their own boxes and their own keys.
I’m not talking about success, I’m not talking about having a full mark in the final exams, but I refer to the quality of education and the strict way of explaining things to students; the unchangeable way.
1+1 can be 11, can be ×, and can be “a long one”
You don’t have to worry, you don’t have to be afraid from your parents in case you failed in your Math exam. To your surprise, maybe you will receive a present from your teacher and will encourage you to keep thinking differently and creatively. I want you to be sure that your teacher had read something about this idea, that’s why you won’t be punished for your unique answers!
Another example from the same field; kindergartens have been teaching the same Alphabets lesson which says:
A…………………> Apple
B………………….> Book
C…………………..> Cat
Why not to change it? Update it, choose a new group of words; words that are used in our life nowadays. Let’s consider this new list:
A………………..> Android
B………………..> Bookmark
C………………..> Cell phone
Don’t you agree with me that our kids already know these words?
We only need “CHANGE”
You can change something in a wrong and unacceptable way; this is not the CHANGE which I mean. We need a positive and a real change towards a bright future.

If you insist that 1+1=2, so you are still unable to get my idea and I’m sorry to ask you to stop reading. And if your answer will be “3” when I ask you once again about ” 1+ 1 = …”, so I’m sorry to say that you won’t get my idea.
I want to emphasize that there is nothing strict, nothing specific and nothing fixed.

very nice article! the article simply means "whatever you want just go for it, don't think you can't get it, you can get whatever you want, nothing is impossible"
It also highlights the practical life by breaking a rule of math and making one of yours.. that's really impressive and can make people to follow their hearts! still if desires are good and acceptable to general people then it's good make your own ways ;D

Yes, I got your point..and I didn't mean about math.. I also meant the same.. that there is no need to rely on traditions we can change this just how we want to.. e.g. if we think 1+1 will be 3.. then yes it will be.
hmm...I agree you...nice article....Actually that's the problem in changing world . We say we are changing but forget about the change and about creativity because creativity is the only thing which makes you feel change. That's the need of this world to be multidirectional..not to be SINGLE-minded. Once my teacher had said...suppose u program a robot and say him to cut a potato..robot will cut..and if you put your fingers in between knife and potato..he will cut your fingers too...But we are humans and we will not cut the fingers...It simply means we are open minded...and the one who is open minded can only change the world.

It is not easy to change your life, your friends, people who live around you.
We have to work hard, so we must start changing ourselves.

Actually...I think we need to change our attitude towards life..we need to come out from the world of sorrows to think positively. This competitive world has created a lot of pressure and we feel we are not for this world. But make self-belief , think positive to come out of situation ...You will see the change. And yes it's not easy but someone will have to start to become a leader to show the mirror to everyone. And that someone is not any person but the positive things from us.......
Someone, why not everyone starts from himself/herself?
I mean, if we start changing ourselves positively, we'll be able to change the whole world.

I like this article , I too find it very disrespectful when I ask some questions during class and everyone would look at me in attempt because my questions sound weird , So , my point is we should challenge things in our life , the majority voice is not always the right one !! 🙂
